Located in the heart of Historic downtown Collingwood, Steakhouse Social Eatery is one of Collingwood’s newest restaurants. Offering an 80 seat restaurant, 55 seat divisible banquet hall and a 12 seat private dining room, we have plenty of room to accommodate your private function.

The restaurant features an impressive main dining area, along with a 22 seat street front patio. Steakhouse Social is proud to offer seasonally inspired house cocktails and an practical wine list. Executive Chef Lonnie Sundberg comes to Steakhouse Social’s kitchen with a passion for local and sustainably-sourced food. The versatile all day menu offers an elevated culinary experience with delicious shareables, house-made charcuterie, artisanal cheese and cured meats that pair famously with our wines.

From daytime meetings to evening galas, the Steakhouse Social events team is excited to offer the best in event planning, gastronomy and service, tailored to your needs. Steakhouse Social invites functions of all sizes ranging from 20 – 140 guests. The open concept dining room features a a 20 seat lounge and with comfortable seating & over 2200 square-feet of dining space.

The main dining room can accommodate up to 80 persons for a sit down dinner or 120 for a cocktail style affair. The banquet area, which is wheelchair accessible, has it’s own fully equipped bar where guests can enjoy their privacy and custom bar setup for events. State of the art technology allows guests to take advantage of the 4 flat-screen TVs in our banquet area for presentation purposes.

The Banquet room can accommodate up to 55 persons for a sit-down brunch, lunch or dinner, or 55 guests for a cocktail reception. Steakhouse Social can also reserve a large space of the restaurant for groups of 60 to 80 for a sit-down lunch or dinner, or for up to 120 persons for cocktails and canapés

Set menus are designed with large groups in mind, showcasing our favourite dishes and highlighting our custom appetizers. With 3 set menus to choose from, large parties of 20 or more can dine in either a private or semi private setting. Custom canapés with a Steakhouse twist can be served before any dinner function or as a compliment to any of our menus.

All groups of 20 or more are required to dine from our set menus and do require a signed event agreement upon making a reservation. All groups of 20 or more will have a 18% service charge added to the total of the bill.

While Steakhouse Social does not charge a room rental fee, a food and beverage minimum is required for all bookings in the banquet ares and for all semiprivate bookings in the restaurant for 20 or more guests. All food and beverage minimums do not include taxes, gratuities and venue fees or any additional services or rentals required. All food and beverage must be provided by Steakhouse Social, exceptions can be made in writing only upon venue approval. Additional fee may be applied.

Steakhouse Social is happy to assist you in creating a bar package that suits your needs and budget. A set fee for an “open bar” is not available; all beverage options are charged based on consumption. As the host of the event, please let us know if you wish to offer a cash bar, ticketed bar or a host paid bar – basic and premium options are available. Corkage fees are $20/bottle and groups are allowed to bring in their own wine

The balance owing can only be invoiced the following business day if arrangements have been approved in writing by the venue in advance. A valid credit card is required to hold all reservations for groups of 20 or more.

A 10% non-refundable deposit is required for all private bookings upon signing. The balance is due at the conclusion of the event.
